Take clear photos of the damaged gear. We need to see it was a genuine crash, not just wear and tear.

FAQ
What counts as a crash?
Any unplanned dismount that results in your gear making contact with the ground, rocks, roots, or trail features hard enough to cause a tear or rip. We're MTB riders too, so we know what a crash looks like. The photos will tell the story.
How long does the claim process take?
We aim to assess all claims within 2 business days. Once approved, your discount code will be emailed to you immediately. The whole process from email to code in your inbox should be under 48 hours.
Is there a time limit on making a claim?
There's no strict time limit, but we do require proof of purchase. Claims must be made while the product is still available in our store for replacement.
Can I claim more than once?
Each product purchase is eligible for one Crash Commitment claim. If you replace your gear using a Crash Commitment discount, the new product is covered under its own new purchase.
Does the 40% apply to any replacement, or only the same product?
The 40% discount applies to a replacement of the same product type. Shorts for shorts, jersey for jersey. Contact us at contact@rubbersidedown.com.au if you have a specific situation and we'll work it out with you.
I bought from a stockist. Am I still covered?
Yes. As long as you have proof of purchase from an authorised RSD stockist, you're covered. Check our stockist list to confirm your retailer is authorised.
